Let me introduce myself. I’m a native of Phoenix, Arizona, twin sister, a single mother of two beautiful daughters. My creative outlets are gardening, sewing, NFL Football(Go BILLS!), adventures in nature, reading, writing, and preparing meals for those in need. Actually, let me repeat that in a unique way. I am crazy about cooking and baking! Providing meals for folks is my outward weekly, if not daily, love language. If I get the chance, I will try and feed you. That’s more like it.
All of my life I have been driven with love for humanity. I knew early on I wanted to be mom and wife and after that was to be a teacher. Those desires were achieved but as life became life-y, my only marriage of 18 years dissolved to an addiction my late husband struggled with.
19 years later, I have been blessed to complete my Bachelor of Arts in Theology in July 2022 and immediately pursued a Masters in Addictive Behavioral Counseling. I completed my recovery coach certification in November of 2022 as well. And I’ve journeyed through my own intense personal therapy and healing journey. My desire is to return the favor of healing that my life has been granted. Particularly, to the community of women who are in addictive behaviors, recovery and lack self-worth. There is hope!
Forthcoming plans as I coach, and counsel are to become an Associate then Independent licensed therapist with The Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health. The EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is a psychotherapy that helps people process traumatic memories. It’s often used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)modality has reigned successfully in providing the path to my restoration of joy and peace and love for myself. I plan to certify then utilize EMDR and Grief counseling in the near future.
